Founded in 2012 and based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, CCT offers Casino Insight, a premier financial management and analytics platform designed specifically for the casino industry. The platform automates essential cage and vault operations, revenue audits, cash reconciliation, and reporting, effectively replacing manual spreadsheets to improve regulatory compliance. Serving over 300 casinos across the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean, CCT integrates seamlessly with diverse casino management, hotel, food and beverage, kiosk, and ATM systems to provide clients with a centralized, unified view of their entire cash operation.

CCT faced the complex operational challenge of migrating hundreds of client environments, each running on-site as Windows client-server applications, into a centralized cloud ecosystem. Operating across more than 300 casino locations in the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean required establishing reliable, secure connectivity through site-to-site VPNs while maintaining strict data governance and regulatory compliance. Furthermore, the company needed to transition away from legacy on-premises infrastructure without disrupting active daily cage and vault operations. They required a structured, two-phased approach starting with lift-and-shift migrations and moving toward advanced serverless and containerized modernization, all while building a unified modern data lake to handle growing volumes of disparate financial and operational analytics data without incurring excessive downtime or architectural friction.

CCT chose AWS to capitalize on its enterprise-grade cloud ecosystem, robust security controls, and specialized migration acceleration programs. AWS offered the ideal foundational infrastructure, including Amazon EC2, RDS Custom for SQL Server, and robust VPC networking, to support secure lift-and-shift rehosting. Additionally, AWS provided advanced native services such as Amazon S3, AWS Glue, and Amazon Athena, enabling the seamless establishment of a modern data lake. The comprehensive scalability, automated governance, and managed serverless capabilities of AWS ensured long-term agility and operational efficiency.

SnapSoft led a MAP Mobilize and Migrate engagement for CCT, bringing together a dedicated team of cloud architects, engineers, and project managers to deliver it end to end.We began by establishing the AWS foundation: a multi-account landing zone built with AWS Organizations, AWS Control Tower, and Account Factory for Terraform, with security monitoring through GuardDuty and Security Hub, IAM Identity Center for access management, and site-to-site VPN connectivity to the casino locations being migrated. On that foundation, we rehosted the first Insight Cash client servers on Amazon EC2 and RDS Custom for SQL Server, then packaged the approach into a repeatable template to accelerate later migration waves. To support analytics, we designed and built a data lake on Amazon S3, AWS Glue, and Amazon Athena, bringing CCT's financial and operational data into one place primed for reporting and further modernization.

To address advanced analytics, SnapSoft delivered a production-grade data lake built on Amazon S3, AWS Glue ETL, AWS Step Functions, and Amazon Athena, landing data into Apache Iceberg tables through a multi-stage (bronze/silver) pipeline to unify disparate financial and operational data streams. As analytics needs grew during the engagement, the data lake scope was expanded and additional data-science capacity added to meet the customer's go-live timeline. Finally, SnapSoft established modernization pathways by designing serverless and container-based architectures incorporating API Gateway, Lambda, Amazon ECS with Fargate, and Aurora Serverless v2 for PostgreSQL, ensuring a scalable and cloud-native future state.
